
A soft bread with stuffed apples, cinnamon, and sugar. If you like apple fritter or if you’re craving something sweet, you’ve got to make and try this apple fritter in bread!
Ingredients:
Sugar-cinnamon mixture
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Apple Bread
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup AP flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
Apple mixture
- 2 or 3 large apples
- 1 1/2 tbsp white sugar
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
Glaze (optional)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk (add 1 more tbsp bit by bit IF NEEDED)
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 350 F and grease your loaf pan with cooking spray, then line with parchment paper and keep aside.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon to make your cinnamon sugar mixture and keep aside for later use
- Then make your apple mixture, chop your apples in small squares, add your sugar and cinnamon onto the apples, and set aside
- In a large bowl, add your butter, white sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, Greek yogurt, and mix. Once all is well mixed add your AP flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, then mix (don’t over mix)
- Pour half the batter into a loaf pan and half of the apple mixture on top, then sprinkle some of your cinnamon sugar mixture on top. (NOTE: there isnt gonna be much batter so make sure not to add more than half, just spread it out in the loaf pan ) Repeat and add the rest of the batter, then the apple mixture, then your cinnamon sugar mixture and bake for 50-55 minutes or until your toothpick comes out clean
- Once your loaf is done, wait for it to cool (45-55 minutes), then make your glaze and add it on top of your loaf!
